Gli scambi immobiliari in ambito urbano: una prospettiva relazionale (Milano, secoli XVI-XVII)
6,00 €
The article analyzes the Milan 16-17th century real estate market focussing on transactions of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo, one of the greater city owners. In Milan the Veneranda Fabbrica owned a great building patrimony, constituted of houses, workshops and flats distributed all over the urban territory. The analysis shows that in the pre-industrial Milan living in town was a multidimensional action involving a complex stratification of economic, social, symbolic and institutional practices. To consider all of these dimensions, we have chosen to adopt a «relational» method exploring mutual connections between economics, society, architecture and law.
